"This work began as a simple exploration of the construction of identity and the value we assign to our visual appearance. It has become so much more. The body, and dance as a form, is inherently ephemeral and I have developed a curiosity for the body in relationship to an infinite time scale.

 

“I can disappear.” poses impossible tasks for the performer – “Disappear now.” - “Make this moment last forever.” The impossibility of the movement tasks has caused my writing about this work to become increasingly difficult – hence dance. Language has left, the content is now in the work."
